We arrive in Washington about noon and on the way to the Smithsonian Zoo we run into the residence of the Canadian Embassy.

Seeing the large mammals in the zoo is disturbing for me.  It is clear that they are imprisoned.    The reptiles somehow don't invoke that response.

This sytem of wires emulates vines and trees and allows primates to travel between building.  The towers are charged with low voltage to deter escape.
