Today we went to the Awendaw Blue Crab Festival

You get about 5 crabs for $7.00.  They're small ones, but I guess that 5 would do the trick.  The lines were too long for us so we settled for hotdogs and chicken, but we did take a bunch of pictures.

So it goes like this.

First you arrive and park

Then you get in line to buy tickets.   Whites in one line and Blacks in the other.  There aren't any sign to say so but that's the way it is.

Then you get in line to buy the crab

Meanwhile in the back they're preping the critters for eatin.

Then you take your bucket of crustaceans and either eat them on the spot

OR take them to a nice place to sit and eat
