A quick visit with the Mills

A trip to Penticton to see Maureen's play staring David Peters

A trip to the race track

For the first time in a long time, maybe ever, 3 generations together for Fathers day

There are a flock of herons that arrive in Vernon each year and nest in the downtown area.  The area where they nest has been preserved as a park.  These birds also frequent the South Carolina area.

Then we went for a trip to Prince George to visit Kirsten and Annie and their parents.

The first stop was a trip to Barkerville.

We're lucky enough to be in Prince George for Annie's Birthday Party

We also took in one of Annie's Soccer Games

Mom and Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary

We have to take Annie's new bike for a ride

That went so well we decided to take a trip up Silver Star.  You take the ski lift up with your bike and then cruise down.

Supper with Davis and Maureen, and a short cruise on their boat.

It was so great to have Doug and Arlene come for a visit.

Although we aren't able to plan a bike trip this year we do manage to collect a fair number of the Smith/Mills kids

at the lake for a great time.

A couple of years ago we went for a bike trip on the Kettle Valley Railroad.  Last year many of the trestles at Myra canyon burned.  We went for a look to see what we could see.

Just before we left on our trip back to South Carolina I made a quick trip to Squamish to help Kyle move and take a look at our house.
