Congaree Swamp
After our cruise we drove the Morrisons back to Columbia to catch their flight. We had a little time, so we stopped in at the Congaree swamp.
There are several interesting geological formations called Carolina Bays in this swamp.

At other times of year this walk way is several miles long
This year the swamp which floods every year (definition of a swamp; a forest that floods) is having a 50 year flood.
It was quite windy while we were there. We heard the crash of this tree falling.
