Tropical Storm Gaston
This is out our upstairs window in the middle of the storm. The storm came right over us. First the wind was blowing from the east and after about 30 minutes of relative calm it started to blow from the west as we got the back side of the storm. When it made landfall it was a category 1 hurricane, but was quickly downgraded to a tropical storm.

But just two houses away, Disaster!!!!!!!
Ouch!!!!
The ground is soaked from all the rain that we've been getting making the roots less able to withstand the winds.
We went for a drive downtown to get some restaurant food because all of the Mt. Pleasant restaurants were out of power. Many of the streets were too flooded to pass.
